Energy Co-Oplight bulb

By harnessing the power of "bulk" purchasing, the Chamber energy cooperative provides Chamber members with long term budget stability and eliminates the volatility of the market for companies. The cooperative program allows us to obtain better electricity and natural gas prices collectively than any one company can do individually.

piggy bankThe Champaign County Chamber is now accepting applications for a new electricity co-op group and a new natural gas co-op group. To view the presentation from the recent informational session at the Chamber office, click here.

If your business is currently in one of the Chamber’s electricity co-ops that expire in June or July 2010 and you haven’t renewed yet, this will be your last time to do so to avoid any lapse between contracts.

Applications will be accepted until noon on Friday, March 26, 2010.

If you're interested in joining the energy cooperative and have not previously been a member, download the application form here.

If you are NOT a new participant in the cooperative, download the renewal application form here.
